At Milton Bushido Ryu, our aim is to bring high quality, accessible and affordable Karate classes for all ages to the Lowell and Greater Grand Rapids communities. 

In Bushido-Ryu we take the old teachings of the Okinawan arts and combine them with the teachings of the Five Rings: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and Void. We use these as guides to our defense styles to make for a much more well-rounded system. Adding into this the Bushido Code, our students learn about Honor, Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Compassion, Heroic Courage, Duty and Loyalty. These are old virtues that still serve well today.
